Alcor Meet XL 4,3” GPS navigation device

It has a TFT LCD with 11 cm diameter with great picture quality that makes navigation detailed and easy and watching movies enjoyable. Its design is elegant and clean, similar to its smaller brother (Meet). Thanks to the slim design it can be easily carried in pockets. The hardware in the appealing design is powerful and reliable, and the GPS receiver is really sensitive so it will provide navigation without any stress.

It plays back MP3 and WMA music files, AVI, WMV and ASF movie files. It also plays back digital photos and TXT files so using it as an E-book reader is also an option. Its unique feature the small, built-in FM transmitter that transmits the music to the car’s hi-fi system. Meet XL is also prepared for the future with its TMC connector (traffic message channel). Using TMC the driver can be notified about the current traffic situation and issues continously, so accidents and traffic jams could easily be avoided. The service is already working in several European countries and it is under testing in Hungary. For using TMC optional receiver is available for Meet XL.

Hello!
I succesfully esed for almost 2 years a Alcor meet xl 4.3 device with igo8 soft. But, recently when i turned it on it remained blocked dislayinng the starting image Alcor.
Couid you please help me, because i am really pleased with the divice and i would not want to buy another.

hello! I bought this GPS http://www.alcordigital.hu/product/alcor_meet_xl_4_3_gps_navigation_device and I placed first 10 minutes to recharge the car's cigarette lighter and It started a line of dead pixels from left to right horizontally! Why? I can fix it? give me an idea! please! I put maps on it (iGO)! doing just fine.

@Victor: What navigation software do you use? The device searches for navigation software in the MobileNavigator folder in the SD card. Executable file also must be renamed to MobileNavigator.exe.

accidently i formated my device memory.After i loaded hidden folder content back. As i read from web i made a fatal mistake .Now navigation option is not working on my device. Could you please inform me?

I have an Alcor meet XL device and its not working properly... Sometimes the speaker is not functioning, sometimes the GPS receiver takes me foreign places...
Can i upload the firmware again or refresh to try it, maybe works? Could you send me the original firmware and the uploader software?

Dear Utkuman, thank you for your inquiry. Since the device is being distributed without navigation software, end users can choose the navigation software that fits the best to their preferences. All technical questions are covered and handled by the customer support of the software companies.
The device supports navigation softwares made for Windows CE operating systems (the device does not support Windows Mobile softwares). Of course the device was tested with multiple, commercially available navigation softwares (e.g. Sygic Drive, UTINavi). Hello,I have alcor meet xl device I tried to load usual software programs what i found on web, unfortunatly nothing worked on it. As I see I am not the only one who has problem with this device. So, dear Alcor Staff for customer satisfaction this is the only thing that you can say ? "unfortunately we can't offer any assistance on software issues"

I have a Alcor Meet XL PNA, in the specifications it sais that has a FM transmitter, what kind of antenna headphones should i use, is it something like the ones for Iphones or Ipods, or better like some kind of models from Nokia devices?

Dear Marius, every navigation software could be used that is Windows CE compatible. The device itself, however, does not have any user-accessible flash memory, the navigation software should be run from memory card. (The executable should be renamed to MobileNavigator.exe.)
